We are not required to appoint a data protection officer.
To finance the free game we show ads (short videos you can choose to watch for rewards, and occasional full-screen ads between levels). The ad provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. AdMob processes device identifiers (such as the Android advertising ID), IP address (used to derive an approximate location), device and app information, and information about ad interactions.
Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG) for personalized ads and access to device storage. If you decline, Google may still serve non-personalized or limited ads based on contextual information, to the extent permitted. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android settings.
Consent is collected with Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP), which stores your choice on your device.
We use Firebase Analytics (Google Ireland Limited) to understand how the game is played so we can improve it, for example which puzzles are too hard or where players stop. Processed data: an app-instance ID, events such as “level started / finished”, stars, turns and hints used, in-game currency earned or spent, ad and purchase events, device model, OS version, language, and approximate location derived from the IP address.
Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Until consent is given, analytics runs in Google “consent mode” with storage denied. Analytics data is retained for 14 months.
If the game crashes, Crashlytics sends a crash report containing the stack trace, device model, OS version, app version and an installation identifier. This helps us fix bugs.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a stable, working app (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Crash reports are deleted after 90 days.
The game downloads configuration values (for example prices in in-game currency) from Firebase. This requires a Firebase installation ID and your IP address. Legal basis: legitimate interest in operating and tuning the game (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Purchases are processed entirely by Google Play. We never receive your payment details. We receive a purchase confirmation (order ID and purchase token) to unlock what you bought. Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Google's privacy policy applies to the payment itself.
If you tap “Share your result”, Android's share menu opens with a short text (stars, turns and lantern colors). Nothing is sent unless you choose an app and send it yourself.
The game may show Google Play's in-app review dialog. Reviews are handled by Google Play; we do not learn whether or how you rated.
This website is hosted on Google Firebase Hosting (Google Ireland Limited). When you visit it, the server processes your IP address, date and time, requested page and browser information in log files to deliver the site and keep it secure (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The website sets no cookies, uses no tracking and loads no external fonts.
Google may process data in the United States. Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, and Google additionally uses the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
The game is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 where required by local law). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future in Settings › Privacy & ad choices. Because we do not know who you are, please tell us your app-instance ID if you want us to handle a request about analytics data. Contact us at the address above.

Uninstalling the game deletes all progress stored on your device. For data held by Google on our behalf, contact us and we will request deletion. You can also reset your advertising ID in Android settings.
We update this policy when the game or the law changes. The current version is always available at this address.
